Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra

As chief diversity and inclusion officer, one of the first positions of its kind at a major American orchestra, Harold guides the CSO’s new action plan to tackle issues of diversity, equity and inclusion across its entire operation. Previously, Harold served as Vice President, Strategy and Policy at Interact for Health and Vice President of Community Strategies at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Harold also held various roles at KnowledgeWorks Foundation and its subsidiaries focusing on funding and policies around education reform, achievement gaps, college access and success, non-profit management and program development. Harold also served as Director of Multicultural Enrollment Services for Miami University of Ohio, and as Chief of Staff for the Vice President for Student Affairs there. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Government, with honors, from Harvard University.
