Question: What made you decide to run for School Board? Why now?

Kareem: I viewed the current pool of candidates and wanted to ensure that there was a school board member that would be dedicated to community engagement and district connectivity. I didn’t see enough of the qualities that I believe are needed so I decided to become a candidate. I believe that I am uniquely qualified to help the board and district hear the voices of our marginalized families and students.
